Heritage
Stop enroute and spend a few hours at the Channakeshava temple built in the 17th century. Built by the Hoysalas, this UNESCO world heritage complex is renowed for its architecture, sculputures, and inscriptions built by three generations of artisans.
Local Cuisine
Try authentic Malnad cuisine at your homestay featuring local ingredients like bamboo shoots and kesuvina leaves with coconut added in liberal proportions. Akki Roti and Kodabu are staples. Order in advance with your homestay.
Coffee
Take back authentic South Indian Filter coffee along with a traditional two-tier coffee filter made out of brass. Try 80/20 or 70/30 blend of coffee and chicory with milk or 100% medium-roast Arabica if you prefer it black.
Wildlife Safari
Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary 10 Kms from our event location. Over 250 species of birds, 40 species of mammals, 20 species of reptiles and a variety of other species make their home here.
