We are hoping to convert city runners into trailrunners with this experience!
The 6.5 hours cut-off seems very liberal, but many will be tested to complete the course
Our course is in a remote area with rugged terrain. For your safety, we want to understand your level of training in the weeks approaching our event so that we can assess your endurance levels and readiness to handle the rigours of our course.
You can provide your proof of qualification during registration or via email by November 2nd.
You must provide us evidence of your qualification by submitting an online link to an event or self-supported run by meeting ANY ONE of the following:
- Previous participant of Malnad Ultra, any edition, any distance. It does not matter whether you finished or not, but you must have started the race. Share the year and category, email ID or mobile number or Bib number and we will verify your information from our database
- Completed any road Half-Marathon of 21 Kms (event or self-supported) in 2025 in under 3 hours. You can provide event timing or links to Strava, Garmin etc. as evidence
- You have a non-zero ITRA Performance Index. Provide your ITRA ID during registration
- You have finished any event on Asia Trail Masters circuit in 2024/2025
- You have finished a Trail Run of 15 Kms or more within the cut-off time provided for that event in 2025

If you are unsure whether your entry will get accepted, please write an email with relevant details prior to registration and our team will let you know whether we will accept or reject your entry.
If you have not submitted your qualification during registration, please remember to email us your proof by November 2nd. Please note that we require online links. PDFs or screenshots will not be accepted as evidence.
Your entry will not get accepted without qualification. You will also not get a refund if we do not receive your qualification proof in time and you will not be allowed to participate in the event.
