Sample Itineraries

Based on our experience, we are providing these tips and some sample itineraries for you to plan your logistics. Please plan well in advance to ensure that you have a good experience. Our event is held in a remote area and you will find it very difficult to solve for travel and accommodation without prior preparation.

  1. Create a group runners so that you can share transport and accommodation and enjoy the experience together.
  2. Plan to carpool to location and share your accommodation
  3. Enjoy the event and drive back together! This means runners of shorter distances like 30K need to hang around the Finish area until their group finishes.
  4. Please plan on reaching your homestay before 5 p.m. This is for your own safety as it is very difficult to navigate these roads in poor networks once it is dark. In any case, it is always recommended to get a good night’s rest before the event
  5. This is a remote area and you will find it difficult to hire local transport. It is best to bring your own vehicle or a long-term rental over two days so that you don’t have to worry about local transport
  6. Please note that the Kaimara Checkpost  has time and other restrictions. Long vehicles having more than 30 seats (like buses) will not be allowed past this point. If you are a large group, please hire a mini-bus or Tempo Travellers to come to the event.
